Who We Are

The SRMC Foundation was founded in 2010 to support the mission of Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC), because we value the importance of supporting our locally-controlled, independent hospital and the safety net of services it provides. All of the Foundation's activities and fundraisers serve one purpose - We are committed to helping Salem Regional Medical Center provide the best possible health care in our region for every patient who comes through our doors. Our patients are at the heart of everything we do.

All contributions to the SRMC Foundation are used locally to provide SRMC patients and the communities we serve with enhanced facilities, advanced technology or needed programs and services. Your generous gift of any amount will help save lives and enhance the region's health and well-being.

►Memorials & Tributes

- Memorial Gifts commemorate the lives of loved ones and friends. The SRMC Foundation will send a card to the person or family you designate, notifying them of your thoughtful contribution made in their honor.

- Tribute Gifts allow you to recognize a special occasion in someone's life, such as a birthday, anniversary or retirement with a gift made as a tribute in their honor to the SRMC Foundation. A letter of tribute recognition and appreciation will be sent to the person you designate, acknowledging your thoughtful gift.

►Planned Giving

Gift planning is a meaningful opportunity for our donors to change lives and help provide advanced health care services, while achieving individual retirement and estate planning goals at the same time. Opportunities include:

- Endowed Gifts
- Charitable Trusts
- Charitable Gift Annuity

Our donors have found that opportunities which benefit themselves and their families can also help fund capital improvements and special programs for Salem Regional Medical Center and the people of the region we serve. We invite you to share this information with your professional advisers as you discuss your estate, retirement and philanthropic plans.
