Salem Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department (ED) is open 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week as a safety net for our community. Staffed by an experienced team of physicians and nurses who are specially-trained in treating urgent injuries and illnesses, our ED provides access to SRMC’s state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and surgical services.

When a critical injury or illness requires transfer to a larger regional hospital for care, air ambulance service is available around-the-clock to Youngstown, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Akron area medical centers.
