Salem Regional Medical Center’s Outpatient Procedures department offers specialized outpatient treatments and procedures that can be scheduled with a physician’s order, including:
►Physician-Scheduled Procedures
Physicians can schedule patient visits in SRMC’s Outpatient Procedures area for:
- Biopsies and growth removals
- Care of wounds and skin abscesses
- Removal of excess fluids from the abdomen and lungs
(Note: Dr. Peckman also provides a weekly Pain/Spine Clinic in Physician Clinic A, located on SRMC’s ground floor. Patients should call Dr. Peckman’s office at 330-482-3762 to schedule an appointment.)
►Other services include pulse oximetry, weight checks, culture collection and Foley catheter insertion
Outpatient Procedures Department
Hours: Monday and Friday, from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
To Schedule: All services must be scheduled in advance by calling the SRMC appointment desk at 330-332-7300. A physician’s order must be provided for procedures that SRMC staff will perform.
